Synopsis: It is a true full circle for me, the movement and morphing of shapes in time.Trained as a traditional formal painter, I was taught that drawing is an investigation of space. So I am constantly trying to re interpret and redefine space. Now, motion and time enter that equation. I take another look at my paintings, done on plywood. Now, in 3D Photoshop color and form. As my painted forms transform in the processes of Photoshop, I see grayscale meshes translate the elements of composition. In my videos, I record the living language of these processes, traversing dimensions in color, shape, form, time, and back again. Judy Rifka, Artist and Videographer
